Their a 15% extra charge for billing insurance. This charge does not include any correspondence with the insurance company. There is no charge if a printout (superbill) is given to the patient and they take full control of it by mailing it out and following up with the insurance.

When you call your insurance company, the best thing is to get a hold of a representative. Most insurance companies will try and navigate you on the phone using a recording. Once you have a hold of a live representative, here's what you need to ask him.
1) Do I have Out of Network benefits for Chiropractic?

2) Do I have a Deductible, if so how much is left to pay?
3) What is the co-pay of the insurance vs. my co-pay?
4) What is my maximum number of visits? How many do I have left?
5) What is my out of pocket amount that needs to pay upon visit?
